There are many ways you can help support the children and families we serve:
Support a New Program
A financial gift is the most effective and straightforward way to help us care for a child with disabilities. Not only is your gift 100% tax-deductible, due to the efficiency of our organization, over 75% of each dollar raised goes directly to assist our children.
We are always looking for and working on new ways to support our children and their families. If you are interested in learning more about potential programs or other ways to support us, please contact us below.
Participation in Events
Your generous support helps us ensure all our children and their families reach their individual goals
Each year, companies and organizations approach us to participate in fundraising events. These events promote a company or organization, while raising money to support the work of the Detroit Institute for Children. We work hard with event planners to contribute to these events by utilizing our board and community resources.
Have a skill you’d be happy to share? We are always looking for volunteers to serve on committees, provide administrative support, and work with us on special programs.
For more information on how you can help, please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 248-926-0909, ext. 246.
“I have had the pleasure to use the various services of the Detroit Institute for Children for some years now. Each of the schools they have worked in have benefited from their staff's expertise in their areas of assignment. The Institute is quick to respond to needs and to provide a variety of personnel and services to children with special needs and the schools that work with them. I highly recommend partnering with them as they place a high value on integrity and doing what is best for children. They won't disappoint!”
